Buy Regular Ticket or Premium Pass / VIP service
Regular Tickets are the basic entry pass with no extra benefits. This option works well if you visit during quiet times like weekdays or non-peak seasons. You’ll save money, but expect long waits for popular rides. With this ticket, seeing 2-3 major attractions in one day is realistic if you accept slower queues.
Express Pass (YouSuTong) offers faster entry and shorter ride lines. It comes in tiers: Single-Use (1 ride), 3-Ride, 5-Ride, or All-Ride access. Importantly, no pass includes shows like WaterWorld or Untrainable – arrive early for those. The 3-Ride pass gives the best value, as bundled rides cost less per attraction than single passes.
For busy periods (weekends/holidays) or if you dislike waiting, always choose an Express Pass. The All-Ride pass lets you experience every attraction quickly but costs more. For most visitors, the 3-Ride or 5-Ride pass balances speed and price. Regular Tickets risk wasted time in queues during peak crowds.
Finally, pair your ticket wisely with your trip length. For 1-day visits, an Express Pass (3-Ride or higher) ensures you enjoy key rides without stress. For 2-day trips, a Regular Ticket works if you stay nearby (e.g., Universal Grand Hotel), letting you spread activities across days. Add a Single-Use Express Pass for your top ride if needed.

Ticket Buying Tips
Book your tickets early online to save valuable park time, especially during busy seasons. The official Universal Studios Beijing website and WeChat mini-program are reliable purchasing platforms. International visitors will find the resort’s official app (iOS/Android) particularly convenient—it allows ticket purchases without language barriers at ticket counters.
Peak crowds occur predictably during winter holidays (January-February) and summer break (July-August) when students are off school. For shorter lines and smoother visits, target weekdays outside these periods. Planning around off-peak dates enhances your experience regardless of ticket type.
Always verify operating hours and show schedules on the app before visiting. Combining advance ticket purchases with off-peak timing maximizes your fun while minimizing waits!
